If the growth within our client portfolio is anything to go by subscription boxes are in massive growth, and the concept is simple. A regular subscription to a themed box that lands on the customers doorstep on a given frequency. Growth has been rapid and the breadth of subjects covered is dizzying. It is also a simple market to enter if you have the correct support. Afterall, what do you need to start a subscription box? An expert knowledge on a given field, access to content to support that, and of course a flexible and supportive fulfilment partner!
We have thrived on our involvement in this market to date, continuously being stretched and actively challenging the way we operate to allow us to improve as we grow. An efficient packing stream for a subscriptions box is very different to single item fulfilment, which in turn is very different to bulk parcel despatches. The range of packaging required to get it right every time regardless of the content means that our stock range was grown significantly over recent times, as have our despatch options for the UK and overseas. System integration, with Shopify as an example, has also proved key to an efficient operation.
All of this has left us in a good place, and confident of growing our subscription box traffic in 2019.
